About Jessica Love (she/her)

I’m a queer, trans director based in Chicago. I am focused on cathartic new work that provides an unforgettable experience. My work is unapologetically queer. I hope every audience member can leave my shows with new questions and ideas they would never have had otherwise.

It is essential to me that my rehearsal room be an exciting, brave, and collaborative space.

I’ve worked with theaters like Shakespeare Theater Company, Actors Theater of Louisville, the Kennedy Center, Red Theater, and Redtwist Theatre. I hold a BS in Theatre from Middle Tennessee State University.
