About Jessica Love (she/her)

I’m a queer, trans director based in Chicago. My work experiments with form, the audience, and challenging ideas in an effort to give an audience an unforgettable experience. My work is unapologetically queer. I sincerely hope every audience member can leave one of my shows with a new question or thought that they would have never had otherwise.

It is essential to me that my rehearsal room be an exciting, brave, and collaborative space.

I’ve worked with theaters like Shakespeare Theater Company, Actors Theater of Louisville, the Kennedy Center, Red Theater, and Redtwist Theatre. I hold a BS in Theatre from Middle Tennessee State University.
