About Jessica Love

Jessica Love (she/her) is a director in Chicago. She recently directed The Pilon by Zach Barr at Red Theater, which received 7 Joseph Jefferson Awards nominations including Production, Director, and New Work.

Her work is focused on cathartic experiences that center on identity and hope. She is passionate about new plays and is often working on readings and workshops as well as with playwrights directly on their new work.

She has worked with theaters like Shakespeare Theater Company, Actors Theater of Louisville, The Kennedy Center, Red Theater, Bramble Theatre, and Redtwist Theatre. She holds a BS in Theatre from Middle Tennessee State University.
